From my "100 Art Challenges" which was originated by :icon100themeschallenge: here.

85. Spiral (Variation 1).

Yes, I am still taking a break, except...

Except I finished my other works that I had planned for today early and so I completed one of my WIPs. It is actually the second part of this one, as it seems.

Love this male stock but it is so easy to create some jesus-type cliché thingie with it... Hope I managed to avoid it.

Note to myself: check the Dodge/Burn tools option-setting before getting aggressively frustrated and tearing out my hair :D

Photoshop CS5.

:iconwatchstock: male figure

All the other elements are either mine or purchased/licensed or painted.

Thanks, Jasmine - I am truly ecstatic! What a great surprise on this Sunday morning at the other end of the world! :)

:hug: Szívesen!

I was gonna say that "I doubt the 'other end of the world' part because I'm from Germany" until I saw you had current residence USA in your profile ^^;

:D Trying to confuse everyone! And thanks for the Hungarian - don't hear it too often here and always warms my heart I have to admit.

haha :D

My grandparents could speak Hungarian - I never learned more than saying köszönöm (and something about blue eyes that I can't write) though, had to look this one up ;)

It is a small world - even if it is the other side of the world - Hungarians are everywhere :D LMK about the kék szemek (blue eyes) if you find it!

some distant relatives used to come for visits when I was very young - they didn't speak German, I didn't speak Hungarian - but they brought that "nickname" for me and for a whole while it stuck :giggle: Thanks for finally giving me the letters to go with the word :D

Sounds like my family - my son does not speak Hungarian (my fault, gives me forever guilt, but long story), and when his cousins are here from Hungary the situation is somewhat the same (the cousins are bi-lingual).

If they called you "blue eye", it was probably a tad different from what I wrote before; it was probably "kék szemű" (=with blue eyes). :)
