The lady and the foreground are from Practical Photoshop magazine's December issue (Resource files on CD), the other images are my photos and purchased/licensed stock. Some stocks are by Irene Alekseeva (not active provider any more).
I also used 2 or 3 brushes (icicles and fairy dust) but unfortunately I do not remember where I got them (they are pretty old ones), sorry. If you recognize any of those, let me know and I will be happy to add their sources to this description.
This piece is almost saddening. Her expression reminds me that, although bringing the first frost is a hard business that will kill off the summer life, she is destined to do it every year, early or late.
You know it IS a sad piece - that was my original intention anyway. I think you are the first one to notice I do not like winter but love autumn/fall, and it shows.
I'm glad I was able to get it! It always makes me very happy to know that I was able to successfully convey a specific topic in an artwork. You've done that well here.
P.S. Thanks for the watch!!
